POST : SECURITY OFFICER SCALE II ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AS ON 01.11.2020- सिक्योरिटी ऑफिसर पद के लिए शैक्षिक एवं अन्य योग्यताएं
i) Age as on 01.11.2020 | Min. : 25 years Max. : 40 years (including all relaxations) The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.11.1980 and not later than 01.11.1995 (both days inclusive). |
ii) Qualification | Graduate from Recognized University or equivalent. A certification in computer course for minimum three months OR Information Technology or related paper as one of the subjects at graduation level or afterwards, is a must. |
iii) Experience | (i) The candidate should be an Officer with a minimum of five years of Commissioned Service in the Army/Navy/Air Force OR (ii) The candidate should be a police officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police with minimum 5 years of Service. OR (ii) The candidate should be of the rank equivalent to Assistant Commandant with minimum five years’ service in Paramilitary Forces. Note: Emergency Commissioned Officers/ Short Service Commissioned Officers should have rendered at least five years continuous Military Service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or on account of physical disability or have been released on account of physical disability attributable to Military Service or on invalidment. Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers who have completed their initial period of assignment of five years of Military Service but whose assignment has been extended beyond five years and in Recruitment of Security and Fire Officers – Project No. 2020-21/3 Page 4 of 30 whose case the Ministry of Defence issues certificates that they would be released on selection within three months from the date of receipt of offer of appointment, may submit a copy of such certificate along with the printed copy of online application for the post. |
iv) Selection Procedure : | Selection will be done by way of Personal Interview and/or Group Discussion (if conducted). If Group Discussion is not conducted : Selection will be done on the basis of Personal Interview only. Maximum marks for interview will be 100. Minimum qualifying marks in interview shall be 50% for General/EWS Category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC category candidate. If both Group Discussion and Interview is conducted : Maximum Marks for Group Discussion will be 30 and minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for General/EWS and 35% for SC/ST/OBC category (out of 30 marks). Only those candidates who have secured minimum qualifying marks in Group Discussion shall be called for Personal Interview. Mere participation in Group Discussion shall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for Personal Interview. The weightage (ratio) of Personal Interview and Group Discussion will be 70:30. Merit list of the candidates shall be prepared based on the marks obtained by them in Group Discussion carrying 30 marks and Personal Interview carrying 70 Marks in descending order under the respective SC / ST / OBC / EWS/ GEN Category. The final selection will be made on the basis of this merit list. Note: In case of equal marks scored by two or more candidates, the merit order of such group of candidates will be derived on the basis of their date of birth (i.e. more senior in age will be placed first before less senior in age) |

POST : FIRE OFFICER SCALE II ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AS ON 01.11.2020 – फायर ऑफिसर पद के लिए शैक्षिक एवं अन्य योग्यताएं

ii) Educational Qualification & Experience | B.E. (Fire Engineering) from National Fire Service College, Nagpur or Divisional Officer Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur OR BE (Fire Engineering) / B.Tech.(Safety & Fire Engineering / B. Tech (Fire Technology & Safety Engineering) from a University / Institution recognized by Govt of India with 5 years of experience in fire safety in high rise buildings. OR B.Sc from a University recognized by Govt of India and should have Passed Station Officers Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur with 7 years of experience in fire safety in high rise buildings OR Higher Secondary from any recognized College / Institution and should have Passed Sub-Fire Officers College from National Fire Service College Nagpur with minimum 10 years of experience in fire safety in high rise buildings OR B.Sc. from any University recognized by Govt of India plus Graduate ship in Fire Engineering (GIFE) from Institution of Fire Engineers (India / UK) with minimum 2 years of experience in fire safety in high rise buildings. |

Note:job for Security Officers
((1) All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/ Institution/ Board recognised by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies and the result should have been declared on or before 01.11.2020. Proper document from Board / University for having declared the result on or before 01.11.2020 has to be submitted at the time of interview. The date of passing the examination which is reckoned for eligibility will be the date of passing as appearing on the mark sheet/Provisional certificate.
(2) Candidates who were holding the similar post in Bank of India in the past are not eligible, hence need not apply.
(3) Candidates ready to work anywhere in India should apply.

job for Security Officers-HOW TO APPLY- आवेदन कैसे करे
आवेदन करने के लिए आवेदक को तीन प्रक्रियाओं से गुजरना होगा. पहले अप्लीकेशन रजिस्ट्रेशन कराना होगा. उसके बाद ऑन लाइन शुल्क जमा करना होगा. फिर फोटोग्राफ सिग्नेचर स्केन कर अपलोड करना होगा.
Application Procedure
Candidates are required to go to the Bank’s website www.bankofindia.co.in and click on the ‘CAREER’ and then click on the link “Recruitment of Specialist Security Officers – Project No. 2020-21/3 Notice dated 01.11.2020”. This will open a new window in this window click on “APPLY ONLINE”
(i) Option “APPLY ONLINE” which will open a new screen.
(ii) To register application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. (iii) In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the data already entered by choosing “SAVE AND NEXT” tab. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required.
(iv) The Name of the candidate or his /her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates/ Mark sheets. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
(v) Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the ‘Validate your details’ and ‘Save & Next’ button.
(vi) Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature detailed under point “C”.
(vii) Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.
(viii) Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.
(ix) Modify details, if required, and click on ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.
(x) Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON.
(xi) Click on ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed for payment.
APPLICATION FEES/ INTIMATION CHARGES (NON REFUNDABLE)
